General Saw Moe Shay, Democratic Karen Buddhist Army (DKBA) Commander-in-Chief, has died of Covid-19 in Yangon region.

DKBA Brigadier General Kaung Myat told Mizzima, "He died at 4:43 p.m."

He was receiving emergency treatment at Mingaladon Military Hospital according to another DKBA official.
