Eleven Pa-O youth organizations issued a letter protesting against the Pa-O National Organisation for supporting the military council.

Local defense forces said that the PNO is backing the junta during clashes between the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF), Karenni Army (KA), and People's Defense Force (PDF) on the Shan-Kayah border in Karenni State.

The youth organizations expressed strong opposition to the PNO helping to perpetuate the dictatorship.
