An explosion occurred at the Ward Administration Office on Pale Paung Kuu NyarNa ward in Mingalardon Township, Yangon, on December 9.

Junta troops blocked the roads and conducted inspections in the area after the explosion. Urban guerrilla teams; Freedom from Fear Youths (F2Y), ARMS and SDG conducted the operation.

An explosion also occurred at South Okkalapa police station at the corner of Thu Mingalar road and Thit Sar Road, South Okkalapa township, Yangon on the same day.

Explosions have occurred in parts of Myanmar, including in Yangon, amid ongoing unrest following the military coup. Blasts have become frequent in recent weeks.
