Facebook should pay reparations to the hundreds of thousands of Rohingyas forced from their homes in Myanmar in a campaign exacerbated by rampant online hate speech, Amnesty International says.

"Facebook played a role in the atrocities that this community suffered, and they also have a responsibility to try and remediate these harms," says Pat de Brún, researcher and adviser on artificial intelligence and human rights for Amnesty International.
