Fifteen Myanmar junta troops killed, many others injured in Chin village clash

The Zomi PDF announced that 15 junta troops were killed and many others were injured in a clash in Haranzin village in Tedim township, Chin State.

Joint resistance forces stormed the junta troops stationed in Haran Zin village at 1.45 pm on January 21.

The People Defence Force marched along the Kale-Thaingin Road connecting Kale township and Chin State, and attacked the junta troops stationed in Haran Zin village. Two PDF fighters were injured, though not seriously, in the fighting.

Prior to this attack, PDF Zoland announced on January 20 that two junta troops were killed in a clash near Haran Zin village. It is said that the military regime sent troops and some supplies to the outpost on Mount Kennedy at around 1.30 pm on January 21.

More than 180 junta troops marching from Falam township to Tedim township were attacked by the CNDF. As junta troops are now unable to advance, they stationed at the edge of Long Bang village, according to PDF Zoland.

Zomi PDF has been attacking the junta troops, joining with CDM Siyin, PDF Zoland, CNA, Kalay PDF, PDA, Zongam Army, CDF and KKG in Kale township and Chin State.
