The front wheel of a training aircraft belonging to Myanmar National Airlines collapsed while touching the tarmac at the Mawlamyine Airport in south-eastern Mon state during landing, Xinhua reported.

All the pilots and crew on board the aircraft escaped injury in the accident, which took place on Tuesday morning, the first of its kind at a Myanmar airport.

The XY AMB aircraft took off from Yangon International Airport.
