Hand grenade thrown at Yangon’s Dawbon township Police Station

A grenade was reportedly hurled at Thinbaw Kyin Police Station in Dawbon Township, Yangon region at around 7:07 pm on 5 January.

“No casualties of junta troops are known as yet. A grenade was hurled and we were able to retreat safely," the Burma Final Revolution Armed Forces told Mizzima.

"The Military Council troops cannot sleep or eat well all the time because they are always fearful of being attacked by unknown guerrillas anywhere," the informant added

On 23 December, a bomb was planted in CB Bank at the corner of Thein Phyu Road and Mahabandula Road in Yangon to warn CB Bank officials.
