Helicopter carrying exam test questions crashes in Chin State

A military junta helicopter carrying Grade-10 exam questions crashed in a pine forest in Yonetaung Valley near to Kyawboat Ward and the 266th Army Base in Chin State’s Hakha Township, on 29 March at around 9:30 a.m., according to the junta.

The exam test questions were being brought from Kale Township and the accident occurred while the helicopter was landing in Hakha Township, General Zaw Min Tun, the military junta’s information officer, told NP News.

Two junta soldiers and three educational staff were slightly injured in the crash.

The helicopter was towed away by a crane without any damage to the university entrance exam questions.

Helicopters are used by government office staff members and for government affairs due to ongoing fighting between the local People's Defense Forces and the military junta in Chin State.
