An IED exploded near Yadanar Hospital, between ‘Monastery Corner’ bus stop and ‘54 Thama’ bus stop, South Dagon Township, Yangon Region on August 8.

Two members of the military, who approached a motorcycle, were seriously injured in the blast, and one was presumed to be dead, according to some onlookers.

There have been frequent explosions in Yangon.
