This video shot by a fighter from ethnic rebel group Karenni Army claims to show an ambush on a Myanmar military convoy and the aftermath in Hpruso township in Kayah state on May 7. Fighting has flared following a military coup in February 2021 as established ethnic rebel groups in border areas, and "People's Defence Forces" across the country, have sprung up to fight junta troops.
