The Kachin Independence Army (KIA) Battalion No. 1 issued a warning on November 22 not to open casinos and sell drugs in Bhamo District, Kachin State.

It stated in the warning letter that as drug use and trafficking and casinos in Bhamo District, Kachin State have expanded since the military coup robberies are on the rise.

The statement said violation of these prohibitions will result in severe consequences.
