A landmine attack on a military convoy en route from Pakkoku to Yaw Township in Magway Region, on 13 December, killed 7 soldiers, according to local defensive force.

The military used two private cars with around 30 soldiers, and 7 of them were killed in the attack with 9 mines at about 30 miles from Pakkuko Township around, said the report by MC-KC PDF.

The attack was also supported by allied local militia group Pakkoku People’s Defence.
