Myanmar policeman surrenders to local defence force in Chin State

The Chinland Defense Force-Kanpetlet (CDF-Kanpetlet) announced on 21 September that a policeman serving in Kanpetlet Township, Chin State surrendered with his weapons.

The policeman Pyae Phyo Zin is from Police Battalion 17th in Nay Pyi Taw and he was serving in Kanpetlet Township. He was welcomed and taken to the liberated area, according to CDF-Kanpetlet.

The policeman reportedly surrendered with one G3 gun and three boxes of magazines and bullets and a bulletproof vest.

, one M16 and two boxes of bullets, 110 bullets of 7.62-mm, 5 bullets of 9 mm and a bulletproof vest.

The statement said the policeman received money as an award by CDF–Kanpetlet and was escorted to the liberated area of his own free will.
