Myanmar's junta Defence Minister General Mya Tun Oo attended the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Defence Ministers' Meeting in Cambodia on Wednesday despite some human rights groups and activists in his country have called on his counterparts to exclude him from the talks.

Cambodian Defence Minister Tea Banh said all defence ministers from ASEAN had reached a consensus to invite General Mya Tun Oo to the meeting in capital Phnom Penh.
