Number of COVID-19 cases rises to 8,344

The death toll from COVID-19 in Myanmar rose to 150, with 17 newly reported deaths on Thursday night, according to a release from the Health and Sports Ministry Xinhua reported.

A total of 517 confirmed cases were also reported in the country on Thursday night, the release said.

The newly confirmed cases brought the number of total infection cases of COVID-19 in the country to 8,344.
