Overheating outlet kills five in Mandalay region

Five people were killed in a fire at a beauty salon in Myanmar's central region on Wednesday, according to the regional Fire Services Department Xinhua reported.

The fire broke out in Chanayethazan township of Mandalay region.

Caused by an overheating socket outlet, the fire lasted for 11 minutes and destroyed the two-storey building of the beauty salon, killing five victims.
