People's Defence Forces (PDFs) raided the Road Transportation Administration office and burned documents in protest at the exorbitant cost of licensing motorcycles, in Sagaing Region's Tamu Town.

“The military council troops are stationed in the Road Transportation Administration office in Sawbwargyi (5) Ward. People are suffering because of the Road Transportation Administration Office's exorbitant charges for licensing motorcycles'', explained a representative of Tamu PDF Battalion 4, one of the groups involved in the attack.

When the security forces raided the Road Transportation Administration office, they fire to documents inside the office before withdrawing safely.

The groups involved in the attack included: Tamu PDF Battalion 4; Tamu Township All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF); and Free Ranger Tamu (FRT).
