Combined forces from the Dictatorship Revolution People’s Army (DRPA) and the Freedom Revolution Force (FRF) launched a drone attack on junta soldiers stationed at Tabayin Township's Kyu Pin Gate in Sagaing Region because they had been extorting money from civilians.
A DRPA Information Department spokesperson said that one junta soldier was killed and four others were injured in the attack.
He said: 'We dropped one M9 rifle grenade from a drone. It scored a direct hit on the junta. One [of them] was killed on the spot and four were seriously injured.'
He added that the DRPA has problems continuing to finance its fighting and the manufacture of homemade artillery weapons.
