On the 35th anniversary of the 888 Uprising, Myanmar communities in London delivered a petition to the UK Prime Minister calling for the release of all political prisoners.

The petition was addressed to Rishi Sunak, the UK Prime Minister and delivered to his official London residence, 10 Downing Street, on 8 August.

The petition called for the release of Aung San Suu Kyi, President Win Myint and all other unjustly arrested political prisoners. It was signed by 7,498 people.
