The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment- NUG announced on Tuesday morning that due to a large volume of demand for their bonds, the sale process would be suspended starting from Monday.
  • Ministry of Labour- NUG announced that labour diplomats from Thai, Korea Republic and Malaysia were blacklisted and dismissed as they conducted oppression on the public while trying to bring life to the dictatorship. They also called for no cooperation with them.
  • According to the Ministry of Defence- NUG, 4 soldiers and 1 police member made contact on Tuesday to join the public as they could no longer accept the military dictatorship.
  • In Thingangyun Township of Yangon Region, Ko Thiha Kyaw (Kone Kone) had been arrested by the junta army on 16th November. According to the NUG, he lost his life on Monday due to violence in the investigation.
  • The NUG announced that the junta administration collapsed in some areas and thus, replacement of administration, together with the judiciary sector, became important. Therefore, they called on everyone to make an effort for that.
  • Ministry of Education- NUG would propose to the U.S for Gotetait Bridge to be International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. At the NUG government meeting, there were discussions on providing State of owner’s support.

Revolution Activities

  • In Waw Township of Bago Region, Sai Mon Zaw, a democracy activist, had been arrested by the junta army and ill-treated in the investigation. Consequently, he died at the hospital at about 4:00 am Tuesday.
  • In Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army stationing at Kaimyauk Village raided a liquor shop at about 4:00 pm Monday. Reportedly, 8 people, including the owner, were beaten and arrested. Among them, Ko Than Tun Aung aged 25 died and his body was discarded by junta soldiers at the market corner.
  • On Tuesday, Mandalay Monks’ Union led an anti-junta movement, reciting Parittas.
  • According to local PDFs and residents, the junta helicopters had been scattering down propaganda documents in some townships of Sagaing Region with a growing influence of PDFs, starting from Tuesday morning.
  • According to CDF KKG, 3 soldiers, including Mang Bawi Hring from the junta army regiment (363) in Kalay, protested against the military dictatorship and joined CDF KKG.
  • In Minkin Township of Sagaing Region, the junta armed forces were attacked with mines twice by a combined force of PDFs on Tuesday morning. Reportedly, about 25 junta soldiers might die.
  • In Wetlet Township, a combined rally of the strike committee and students’ unions hung an anti-junta poster in front of the clock tower on Tuesday.
  • On Tuesday, a combined rally of Salingyi North and Yinmabin East marched against the military dictatorship.
  • In Pinlebu Township, Win Thein, chair of township USDP and candidate, and Nyo Than, allegedly junta informer, were both shot dead by some gunmen at about 8:00 am Tuesday while they were sitting at a tea-shop.
  • In Shwebo Township, local people marched for the NUG and against the military dictatorship on Tuesday.
  • As a 296-day protest, Kalay people marched against the military dictatorship on Tuesday morning.
  • In Monywa Township, Monywa-Amyint General Strike conducted a dawn strike against the military dictatorship and bloody education system on Tuesday.
  • At about 7:45 am Monday, the Burmese Student Organization (BSO) conducted an ambush at the junta police members on motorbikes on their patrol in Tamu. Reportedly, there were exchanges of fire and two junta police members died.
  • On Monday, Tamu PDF completed their first batch of mine and trap training.
  • At about 11:48 am Monday, People Defense Army-Yinmarbin shot a mortar at a military vessel on patrol in Chindwin River in Kani Township.
  • In Pha-Kant with an internet blackout for over 3 months, local people expressed their desire for KIA, PDF, NUG and NUCC on Tuesday. They also protested against the military dictatorship.
  • In Myitgyina of Kachin State, there was a sound mine explosion in the compound of State Court at about 9:00 am Tuesday.
  • At about 6:00 am Monday, junta soldiers in two cars wildly opened fire in two villages of Moenyin Township. Consequently, some houses were damaged and a cow died.
  • In the downtown area of Yangon, a traffic police booth was set on fire at Theinphyu-Bogyoke road traffic lights in Bodataung Township. According to local residents, the junta armed forces made inspections on Tuesday morning.
  • At about 6:30 pm Monday, there was a bomb explosion on YBS (14) from Parami Bus Service, owned by the junta army, in Ward (4) of South Okkalapa Township.
  • On Tuesday, youth hung an anti-junta banner near Thingangyun Sanpya Market.
  • In the downtown area of Yangon, youth and students marched on Tuesday, holding signs- ‘Antifascist – Action’.
  • According to CDF Mindat, two people, father and son, stepped over the landmine by the junta army at (16) Mile divergent point on Mindat-Matupi Road. Reportedly, the father died of over bleeding on arrival at the clinic on Monday evening.
  • In Shadaw Township of Kayar (Karenni) State, KA and KNDF attacked frontline camps of the junta army on 25th and 26th November. Reportedly, there were 5 battles within 2 days, killing no less than 3 junta soldiers.
  • In Dawei of Taninthayi Region, Ma Eaint Zin Zin Phoo, a student of Technological University, had been missing for 4 days. Only after that, her family got to know that she had been arrested by the junta army.
  • In Kanbauk Area of Yebyu Township, the junta army arrested two residents of Hlegone Village at about 12:30 pm Tuesday.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • Saw Lar Thit, chief officer of Border Guard Force Regiment (1019), died suddenly in the early morning of Tuesday.
  • At about 10:30 am Monday, the junta army conducted an invasive attack at the MNDAA camp at Chinchainttan Mountain Range. Their fighting ended at about 2:35 pm. According to the Kokang, there was still military tension between the two sides.
  • KIO administration office released a notice to stop all gold-hunting rafts along Ayeyarwaddy River in Shweku District administration area.

The Military Council

  • According to the junta newspaper, a ceremony, upon completion of Parittas reciting by the junta family members were held at Anawrata Hall on Monday morning.
  • State Counsellor Daw Aung San Su Kyi has been charged with Section (505). Reportedly, the verdict day was postponed to 6th December.
  • The junta newspaper said that 23 factories and workshops had been damaged due to mine explosion and fire by NUG and PDFs from 1st February to 20th November.
  • According to the junta newspaper, Monywa Iron PDF, which had blown up factories under the instruction of the NUG, their associates and supporters were arrested.
  • The military junta announced that starting from 1st December, MRTV News Channel, a new branch of the propaganda, would be broadcast with a regular presentation of local and international news as well as breaking news, update news and Crawler.

Summary on 1 December 2021

  • In the areas out of their control, the military junta has to scatter propaganda brochures from helicopters. In addition, they have been arranging a propaganda news channel for broadcasting false information.
  • As for the NUG, they called for collective efforts in the administration and judiciary sector in the areas where the junta administration collapsed. If there are more such areas, the public’s administration will be stronger.
  • In Sagaing Region, they were heavy battles, causing losses for both sides. Turning a blind eye to the UN and international community, the junta armed forces have been committing war crimes constantly by killing civilians for no apparent reason.
  • Reportedly, there were revolution activities in any possible way throughout the country.
