The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In Paungty Township of Bago Region, local PDF shot dead a leader of the junta’s Pyusawti Militia in Aung Thabyay Village.

· According to Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG, revolutionary forces managed to clear off 33 junta soldiers within a day of the People’s Defensive War.

· On 6 October, there was a meeting via video conferencing between the Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) and the Ministry of Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Risks Management-NUG.

· According to the Mid-Military Region No. (3) Regiment 1008 under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, they have been spending the public’s fund to help with arms production and they have managed to make 40mm launchers and grenades for their fighting.

Revolution Activities

· Data for Myanmar, an organization watching human rights violations, announced on Sunday that 1,316 people had been arrested for their anti-junta posts on social media.

· In Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, there was an attack on the junta soldiers and police on their way to collect census details in Thabyaytaw Village on the evening of 6 October.

· In Kantbalu Township, the junta troops have been invading the area. Consequently, local people from no less than 10 local villages have had to run away and after two weeks they need food, water and shelter.

· According to a report by Mon State Human Rights Foundation on 5 October, there has been heavier fighting in the southern part of Myanmar after the military coup and it has been threatening the safety of local residents.

· In Longlone Township of Tanintharyi Region, a combined force of PDFs attacked the junta army stationed in Kyauknimaw Village.

· In Indaw Township, a combined force of the All Burma Students' Democratic Front and local PDF attacked the junta army and Shanni National Army. Reportedly, there were casualties among the junta members.

· U Min Zaw Oo, a follower of Shwe Mya Wah Sayardaw who had been arrested for anti-junta talks, was killed by a group of people.

· In Pauk Township of Magwe Region, there was a bomb attack via drone, along with mortars, on a junta troop contingent. Reportedly, there were casualties among no less than 10 junta soldiers.

· In Indiana State of the US, there was a fund-raising sale at Tharana Myintzu Monastery, along with a demonstration in support of the 78th UN General Assembly Credentials.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

· In Fruso Township of Karenni State, heavy artillery fired by the junta army fell in Paredo Village. According to Karenni Human Rights Group, a displaced child was killed and 8 houses were damaged.

· According to Mobye PDF, the junta army has been shooting mortars into the town of Mobye since 6:00 am Monday.

· In Paletwa Township of Chin State, the local CDF has been just fighting the junta army and they have no interference at all in religious affairs.

· In Ledo Township of Bago Region, the junta army fired mortars into Taungkhin Village. According to the Karen National Union, a civilian got injured and a house was damaged.

· In Kalay Township of Sagaing Region, 3 junta soldiers died in the battle against CDF KKG in Satkant Village.

The Military Council

· On Tuesday, the junta Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Myanmar people in Israel are just to stay at home unless necessary to go out due to the battles in that country.

· To help with flood victims in Bago, the junta Fire Brigade Headquarters sent their special rescue team.

· The junta Ministry of Health released preventive measures against eye-infectious disease, which has been spreading recently.

· Since 5 October, there has been a flood in Bago of Bago Region due to constant rainfall, leaving 5600 people as victims.

Summary on 10 October

· After the military coup, the junta army has been oppressing and arresting social groups unlawfully. Due to such mismanagement and economic hardships, the public are no longer able to contribute to the rescue in times of natural disasters.

· The junta’s murder gangs have been rearing their ugly head again in big cities. They have been killing innocent people and thus, the public are to take great caution.
