The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • According to The End of Dictatorship, they have sold 70% of the shares for the property at No. (14) on Inlya Road, confiscated by the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing.
  • Union Minister of Human Rights-NUG said that in the meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, he had called for action related to the deteriorating human rights violations in Myanmar at the conference of the UN Human Rights Council to be held in Geneva soon.
  • In commemoration of the 77 th birthday of State Counsellor Daw Aung San Su Kyi, members of Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment-NUG bought bonds for 7 PDF members who had lost their lives.

Revolution Activities

  • On Friday, Democratic Party for a New Society announced that they would protest in various ways against the arrangements of the military junta for the election in August 2023.
  • On Thursday, a Counsellor of the US Foreign Affairs Department went to Mela Refugee Camp and had a discussion about more humanitarian assistance.
  • In South Dagon Township of Yangon Region, Hein Min Latt, a 100-household leader in Ward 55, was shot.
  • In Gantgaw Township of Magwe Region, the junta army raided Nyaungle Village on 3 June and killed 5 villagers by tying them up with ropes and burning them to death.
  • In Yesagyo Township, PDF attacked the junta army gate at Hsinphyushin Bridge on Thursday. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died, another one was caught alive and many weapons were confiscated. Regarding the incident, a local PDF released a video.
  • On Friday morning, junta soldiers and Pyusawti members set fire to no less than 18 villages in Yesagyo, Pakkoku and Seikphyu townships. Reportedly, thousands of local people have had to run away.
  • In Yesagyo Township, the junta armed forces raided Thedaw Village on Thursday. Reportedly, they killed Daw Aye, an old woman aged 70, by burning her to death.
  • In Yinmabin Township of Sagaing Region, a combined rally of villagers protested against the military dictatorship on Friday.
  • On Friday, Kalay General Strike hung a banner against the military dictatorship.
  • In Tigyaint Township, a junta captain shot at Kyaw Kyaw Oo, a policeman from local police station, on Wednesday. Reportedly, the policeman was injured and was sent to hospital.
  • In Katha Township, the junta armed forces were attacked with mines by local PDFs on Thursday. Reportedly, no less than 15 junta soldiers died.
  • In Pyigyi Dagun Township of Mandalay Region, the junta armed forces have been destroying over 200 houses in Ta Ward by using 4 backhoes, accusing local residents of being squatters.
  • In Hpakant of Kachin State, local people marched for the KIA, PDF and NUG on Friday. They also expressed their objection to the military dictatorship.
  • In Kyaikto Township of Mon State, junta soldiers on secret patrol fired at an ambulance of the Sittaung Social Team. Reportedly, Mg Pyi Phyo Aung, a rider in the car, was hit with a bullet and died.
  • In Mingaladone Township of Yangon Region, there was a bomb explosion at Htautgyant Police Station at about 9:00 am Friday.
  • In Tantalan of Chin State, a church aged nearly 60 years was set on fire at 4:30 pm Thursday. According to local people, it might have been done by the junta army.
  • In Bogale of Ayeyarwaddy Region, the junta officer in charge of the local police station has been demanding money by force from the townspeople.
  • In Shan South, Ywangan PDF announced on Thursday night that they would leave the area and come back with a new form of establishment.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • Chair of Karenni National Defence Force-KNDF called for contributions to a fundraiser so that they could defeat the junta army with the use of mortars.
  • CDF Matupi released a video containing their attacks on a convoy of 70 military trucks on the way from Matupi to Kyauktu in April.

The Military Council

  • According to the junta media, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing went to the construction site of the Korea-Myanmar Friendly Bridge, which has been under construction since the NLD government, on Thursday. Reportedly, he instructed for the sustainability and natural disaster resilience of the bridge.
  • In the meeting with the junta regional government and community in Yangon on Thursday, the junta leader said that a good economy was fundamentally important for the powerful driving force of politics and defence.
  • The military junta announced on Friday that 4 people had been sentenced to death under the accusation of having killed a woman in Hlaingthaya Township.
  • According to Global Economic Review by the World Bank, Myanmar’s economy was unpredictable after the military coup on 1 February 2021.
  • In Thipaw Township of Shan North, the junta administration issued the order for gathering of no more than 5 people at public places and a curfew not to go out at night.

Summary on 10 June

  • The junta leader said that they would bring life to Nyaunghnabin, which has been abandoned for years. At the time of economic downturn, his renovation plan is just a waste of the country’s financial resources.
  • Due to such mismanagement of the dictators, Myanmar was excluded from the Global Economic Report by World Bank as it was too chaotic to predict and review economic conditions and policies of the country.
  • In Sagaing, Magwe, Karenni and Chin, there were heavy battles. As for Sagaing Region, they have been in the worst situation.
