The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • At 10:00 am Sunday, there was a meeting between the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public’s Administration and teams of Public’s Administration for Special Areas.
  • On Saturday, there was an online meeting between Union Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG and verified township public’s administration teams from Sagaing and Magwe regions.

Revolution Activities

  • U Min Ko Naing, a leader of Spring Revolution, said that the military junta had been looking for an escape as they were stuck in all sectors.
  • In Mandalay, the junta army arrested some family members as hostages. Reportedly, a woman lawyer tried to commit suicide by drinking pesticide.
  • In Magwe Region, the junta armed forces have been raiding villages along Yaw Stream on the border of Pakkoku and Seikphyu townships since 8 June. Consequently, more than 30,000 local people have had to leave home and run away.
  • In Yesagyo Township, a member of Pakangyi local police station, together with a G3 gun and some bullets, joined Young Force (UG).
  • In Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army set fire to Linzagyet Village on Sunday. Reportedly, they also arrested over 100 villagers at the monastery.
  • In Yesagyo Township and Myaung Township on the border of Magwe and Sagaing, the junta armed forces were attacked by local PDFs on Sunday. Reportedly, 10 junta soldiers and Pyusawti members, including a captain, died.

  • As a 459-day protest, a combined rally of villages from Salingyi North and Yinmabin East marched against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • In Yinmabin Township, Sonechaung Rally led a march against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • On Sunday morning, Monywa Youth Association conducted an anti-junta movement by hanging a banner - ‘The pagoda is closed today as the country has been under the death penalty’ at the entrance of Kyaukka Shwegu Pagoda.
  • In Minkin Township, the junta armed forces set fire to over 120 houses in Konemaw Village and Latpandaw Village. Reportedly, they also took away valuable property and over 20 cows.
  • In Yangon, a combined rally of Burmese Students’ Union and their alliances marched against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • In Kyimyindine Township of Yangon Region, there was a banner against the junta education on Kanna Road on Monday morning.
  • In Thayetchaung Township of Taninthayi Region, local people carried out a dawn march against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • In Myitkyina of Kachin State, A-Ka-Tha students marched against the military dictatorship and the junta education on Monday morning, chanting slogans.
  • In Longlone Township, Rosy Women Union (Dawei), in cooperation with LGBTs, basic education students and some youth, conducted an anti-junta movement on Monday.
  • In Thayetchaung Township, women led a march against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • In Dawei Township, a convoy of 10 military trucks carrying over 100 junta soldiers was attacked three times by local PDF on the Dawei-Tiki road section on Sunday. According to Eastern Defense Force EDF, there were many casualties among junta soldiers.
  • In Myingyan Township of Mandalay Region, a local PDF attacked the junta army stationed in Hsinchaung Village at 11:00 am Sunday. Reportedly, a junta soldier died.
  • In Shweku Township of Kachin State, a contingent of junta soldiers on foot was attacked with mines by Myohla PDF. Reportedly, the junta army had a great loss.
  • In Titain of Chin State, some houses and buildings were damaged as the junta army wildly shot mortar shells.
  • In Ayeyarwaddy Region, Ko Win Tun Naing, a political activist from Pathein, was sentenced to a 5-year imprisonment at the junta court inside of Pathein Prison.
  • In Ywangan Township of Shan South, there was a gunfire at a car carrying Pyusawti leader Win Myint and 2 of his followers on the road near Mainmaye Mountain at 3:30 pm Sunday.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Myawaddy Township of Kayin State, a combined force of Karen National Defence Organization-KNDO attacked the junta police station in Wawlaymyein Sub-Township on Monday morning. Reportedly, 4 policemen, including the officer in charge, were caught alive and 9 PDF members were rescued from the detention.
  • On Monday, CDF Matupi released a video of a close attack on military troops opening gunfire wildly along the Mindat-Matupi Road in Chin State.
  • In Kanpetlet Township, there was a fighting almost all day long. According to local CDF on Sunday night, 16 junta soldiers died.
  • In Shweku Township of Kachin State, there was a heavy fighting between the junta army and a combined force of Kachin Independence Army- KIA on Sunday morning. Reportedly, many junta soldiers died.
  • In Tandabin Township of Bago Region, a combined force of Karen National Liberation Army-KNLA and PDF attacked the junta army based in Zayatgyi at about 9:00 pm Sunday. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died and many others were injured.

The Military Council

  • The supervisory committee on edible oil under the junta Ministry of Trade and Commerce announced that the referenced price for wholesalers was 5645 MMK per viss from 13 to 19 June.
  • On Monday morning, there was a meeting between the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing and the delegation of Arakan Liberation Party-ALP led by Vice-Chair Daw Saw Mya Yarzar Lin in Nay Pyi Taw.
  • The junta Minister of Electricity said that their purpose was to be able to supply stable power fully to the public in a timely manner and with the least loss.
  • According to the junta media, the opening ceremony of the 2022 Shooting Championship by Eastern Military Headquarters was held at the training school in Bahtoo. Reportedly, present on the occasion were the junta deputy military officer in chief of Shan State, responsible personnel, family members of the junta armed forces and judges.
  • Dr. Tin Thitsa Lwin, daughter of the junta Minister of Foreign Affairs, was promoted as a director at the Health Ministry Headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw.
  • In Patheingyi Township of Mandalay Region, there was an argument among police members at Shwesayan No. (4) Security Police Force on Sunday morning. Reportedly, a police member died from a gunshot by Sergeant Soe Tint.

Summary on 13 June

  • As for Karen National Liberation Army-KNLA, they carried out invasive attacks against the junta armed forces all over the area. On Monday, they managed to take control of a police station and catch the police. In Sagaing Region, local PDFs attacked the junta police stations and camps. As a whole, revolution forces have been in the position to conduct counter attacks.
  • The military junta has been keeping control of the market and prices of consumer goods. Despite reasonable prices on the junta media, they are doubled in reality. Throughout successive military dictators, they have tried to control market demand by force to make the prices stable, but they have never succeeded. The prices would not fall just by the arrest of business people and confiscation of their goods. Instead, it would just lead to the black market again.
