The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • At 10:00 am on Saturday, there was a meeting between the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration- NUG and the members of the Special Investigation Department from Mon State and Taninthayi Region.
  • There were bomb attacks via drone on the junta soldiers playing cards in Dibeyin Township and the junta army in Ye-U Township. Reportedly, 6 junta soldiers were injured.
  • On Friday, the Committee Representing the Pyitaungsu Hluttaw conducted its regular meeting. Reportedly, the Ministry of Federal Affairs- NUG presented about its activities and action plans.

Revolutionary Activities

  • In Monywa of Sagaing Region, local PDFs attacked a junta army car on patrol at close range on Ayeyaiktha Street. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died and many others were injured.
  • In Yinmabin Township, a rally of Shwe Nwe Thwe marched against the military dictatorship on Sunday.
  • In Khin-U Township, the junta armed forces have been invading local villages. Consequently, more than 10,000 people from 9 villages have had to run away.
  • In Wetlet Township, displaced people have been suffering from flu. Reportedly, they have been in need of medicine, rations and tarpaulins.
  • In Bago of Bago Region, two armed men robbed a house in Nandawyar Ward at 2:30 pm Saturday. Reportedly, a large number of gold pieces were taken away.
  • In Chanaye Thazan Township of Mandalay Region, a professor from Mandalay Medical University was robbed with a fake gun in his house.
  • In Longlone Township of Taninthayi Region, a troop of more than 100 junta soldiers raided Thagyettaw Village on Saturday. Reportedly, local residents had to run away.
  • In Longlone Township, two people from Kamaungtaung Village and Thagyettaw Village were shot by the junta army. Reportedly, one of them lost their life.
  • In South Korea, the MFDMC, an overseas support team for the revolution, protested against Myanmar’s military dictatorship on Sunday.

Ethnic Armed Organisations

  • In Kawkarait Township of Kayin state, the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and PDFs attacked the junta army camps in Tadar-U Ward and No. (3) Inspection Gate.
  • In Taninthayi Region, the Kawthoolei Army released a statement on Saturday that the public was not to use the Dawei-Htiki Road.
  • In Sawti Township under the Karen National Union in Kayin State, the junta army fired mortars into local villages. Consequently, a person got injured and 3 houses were damaged.
