The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • According to the NUG Ministry of Education, Forestry and Environmental University (Yezin) has been accepting enrollments for first-year students for the 2022-23 academic year.
  • Reportedly, each of the bond buyers in November will receive a postcard signed by the Chair of the Interim Chin National Consultative Council.
  • At 10:00 am on Tuesday, the 73rd meeting of the NUG was conducted. Reportedly, it was joined by the Union Prime Minister, Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers.
  • On Tuesday, the NUG issued a statement on the 34th anniversary of All Burma Students' Democratic Front.
  • On Tuesday, the Committee Representing the Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) sent a statement on the 34th anniversary of All Burma Students' Democratic Front.
  • At 3:00 pm on Monday, there was the very first meeting between the NUG Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration and District Public Administration Teams.
  • At the 77th United Nations General Assembly, Myanmar’s Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun called on the ICC to take action against the junta army as there was a lot of evidence of their war crimes.
  • The NUG Ministry of Defence announced that the NUG and the People’s Revolution Alliance Magway had agreed to join hands in military operations and administration.

 

Revolutionary Activities

  • In Yinmabin Township in Sagaing Region, a rally of rural youth led anti-junta public talks themed ‘There will never be the saviour’.
  • In Myinmu Township, there was a bomb attack using a drone on the junta army on Tuesday. According to Myingyan Zero Guerrilla, two junta soldiers died.
  • In Kani Township, a large number of local people marched for the downfall of the military dictatorship on Tuesday, holding anti-junta signs.
  • In the upper part of Minkin Township, there was an attack on the junta army and Pyu Saw Htee camp in Shel Village and Thaymathaught Village. Reportedly, five junta members died and three M2 guns were confiscated with some bullets.
  • According to People's Defence Force-Kalay-Technique & Drone, there will be local battles again in the open season and thus, it is necessary to get support for air defences to fight against the junta army.
  • In Longlone in Tanintharyi Region, youths marched for the end of the military dictatorship on Tuesday.
  • In Nyaunglebin Township in Bago Region, the junta armed forces arrested two people from Jaungdar Village for no apparent reason.
  • In South Okkalapa Township in Yangon Region, there was a grenade attack on the junta administration office in Ward (10).
  • In North Okkalapa Township, there was a bomb explosion at a house where people were playing cards at about 7:00 pm on Monday.
  • In Mandalay, there were two mine attacks on Tuesday, on the junta security force prison van near the No. (11) Police Station and a convoy of three military trucks on patrol in Aungmye Thazan.
  • In Sintku Township, PDFs conducted a bomb attack using a drone on the junta police station in Nweyone Village. Reportedly, five members of the junta police were seriously injured.
  • In Madayar Township, Nyunt Ko, allegedly a junta informer in Ngetoe Village, was shot dead during a chase as he tried to run away.
  • In Chanmya Thazi Township, there was an anti-junta banner at the junta traffic police gate on Tuesday morning.
  • In Kyauktaw Township in Rakhine State, a mortar round fired by the junta army Sa-Ka-Ka (9) fell and exploded in Pisi Village, killing three family members including a 13-year old girl.
  • According to Pann Sine, there will be a fund-raising sale of Pathein umbrellas and snacks to raise money for two pistols for Pathein District PDF.
  • In memory of four political activists, including U Jimmy, who was executed on 23 July 2022, 21 political prisoners donated alms. Reportedly, those inmates lives have been threatened by prison authorities.
  • In Tanintharyi Township of Tanintharyi Region, 4 prisoners ran away from Tonekha Detention Center at about 9:00 am on Monday. Reportedly, two of them were caught and two others were shot dead.

Ethnic Armed Organisations

  • Mobye and Pekone PDFs are in need of weapons to fight the junta armed forces.
  • On 18 October, two junta soldiers from the junta army Ka-Ma-Ya (340) based in Hpapun defected to Karen National Union- KNU Brigade (5).
  • On Monday, there was an announcement that the Matupi Public Administration in Chin State had been re-formed with 21 representatives.
  • On Monday, the Peace Process Steering Team (PPST) released a statement, strongly condemning the attack on the house of Saw Win Kyaw, the Commander of KNU/KNLA Peace Council.

The Military Council

  • In Indaw Township in Sagaing Region, the junta army arrested and killed a young man from Ywatha Village, accusing him of being a PDF trainee.
  • In Matupi in Chin State, junta soldiers have been investigating and beating religious leaders in the last few days, saying it was for security reasons.
  • Regarding the bomb explosion at the office of the Kachin State Government, the junta army arrested some staff members from Bukahlyut Military Office on Monday night for interrogation.
  • On Monday night, the military junta falsely claimed that the dead and prisoners had been involved in the shooting at the bus station on the way up to Kyaiktiyo Pagoda in Mon State.
  • On Sunday, there was a meeting between the Border Guard Forces of Myanmar and Bangladesh.
  • The junta propaganda media stated that a monk from Aungdawmu Monastery in Tamu and another person were injured by PDF gunfire.
  • The military junta stated that those who had been supporting PDFs with medical supplies had been arrested.

  • The junta’s list of perpetrators of the Kyaiktiyo shooting included dead people and prisoners. It is typical of the military junta to cover up the news.
  • As for the upcountry revolutionary forces, they have networked well and have been able to accurately hit targets. In Mandalay there have been frequent activities by urban revolutionaries in recent days.
  • The open season will be coming soon and it will be followed by battles. Starting from now, it is necessary to contribute as much as possible to the revolutionary forces.
