The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • In cooperation with the mid-region headquarters under the Ministry of Defence-NUG, CDM Captain Nyi Thuta has been conducting a 30000-USD campaign for the procurement of weapons.
  • On Saturday, Myaung Medical Team conducted a health check for the students at MEDUS-07 School opened by Myaung Education Network in a liberated area.
  • On Friday, there was a meeting between Union Prime Minister of the NUG and a Counsellor of the US Foreign Department. Reportedly, they had a discussion about Myanmar’s affairs.
  • U Kyaw Moe Tun, Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, called for action against the military junta for their activities such as war crimes and genocide in accordance with Responsibility to Protect-R2P.
  • Union Minister of Health and Education-NUG sent a letter of objection in the case in which the UNICEF representative to Myanmar had given his credentials to the illegitimate military junta.
  • Union Minister of Communication, Information and Technology-NUG said that they could monitor websites and data 24/7 and keep them safe.

Revolution Activities

  • In Kume of Mandalay Region, U Tin Tun Naing, junta-appointed administrator of Ward 2, and his wife were shot in their house on Saturday night. Reportedly, the man died on the spot.
  • In Maha Aungmye Township, urban guerrillas attacked the junta General Administration Department on Friday and Saturday.
  • Motherland Revolution Force warned that China should reflect on their policies related to the military junta and join hands with the NUG for the relationship and policies on the establishment of federal democracy quickly.
  • In Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region, Motherland Revolution Force demolished the tower of the main power supply to the copper mining project of Chinese Wanbao Company.
  • In Dibeyin Township, a combined rally of women and villagers conducted a farm strike against the military dictatorship.
  • In cooperation with Butalin rural community, a combined rally of Yinmabin-Salingyi strike leaders, Yangon youth and local people marched against the military dictatorship.
  • As a 471-day protest, a combined rally of villages from Salingyi and Yinmabin marched against the military dictatorship on Sunday morning, chanting anti-junta slogans.
  • In Myinmu Township, a military truck full of junta soldiers was attacked with mines near Napegyu Hall at 8:15 am Sunday.
  • In Letpadaung Area of Salingyi Township, the junta armed forces in Toneywama Village and Tawgyaung Village took away valuable things of the public. They then set fire to the villages starting from 6:30 am Sunday. Reportedly, they killed at least 5 local people.
  • In Shwebo, junta soldiers in ordinary cars were attacked with mines on their patrol on Saturday night. According to Wolf PDF, a car was hit and there might have been casualties.
  • In Myaing Township of Magwe Region, an alliance of PDFs attacked Thayetkan Police Station on Sunday morning. With a great loss, the junta army used military helicopters for attacks.
  • In Hpakant Township of Kachin State, a combined rally of Lonekhine gems miners led an anti-junta march on Sunday, raising a banner against the military dictatorship.
  • Amidst tight security measures of the junta armed forces in Yangon, there was a march against the military dictatorship on Sunday.
  • On Saturday, Pao National Political Consultative Committee expressed their condemnation against the junta PNO/PNA for not taking any action against one of their members who had shot dead a local woman in front of her house in Sesai Township of Shan South.
  • In South Korea, Myanmar people conducted a protest in front of the Cambodian Embassy at 11:00 am Sunday.
  • In Longlone of Taninthayi Region, there was an anti-junta protest prior to the 46 th anniversary of the execution of student leader Salai Tin Maung Oo.
  • In Dawei, the junta armed forces raided a house with Thai-Myanmar money exchange services on Naitban Street at about 1:00 am Friday.

  • Bama Youth Network called on the public to support them by playing the Rebel game.
  • In Ayeyarwaddy Region, police sergeant Thant Zin Oo from Pathein Waterway Police Unit has been in detention due to his unidentified post on social media with birthday wishes for State Counsellor Daw Aung San Su Kyi on 19 June.

Revolution Activities

  • In Kyaikto Township of Mon State, a convoy of 4 military vehicles was attacked with mines by a combined force of KNLA near Ingabo Village. Reportedly, two trucks were hit and a Double Cab overturned.
  • In Beelin Township, the junta army shot mortars, causing the death of a school teacher aged 25 and her baby boy aged 14 months in Asu-Chaung Village.
  • According to the KNU on Saturday, the junta armed forces have been threatening local people from 15 villages in Kyaukgyi Township under Karen National Union Brigade (3) to leave their villages.

The Military Council

  • According to army sources, the people’s leader Daw Aung San Su Kyi has been detained in a cell 15 feet square at Nay Pyi Taw Prison.
  • According to the junta media, a man with the charge of Section 50 (j) under the anti-terrorist law returned home to Wakema Township of Ayeyarwaddy Region.
  • The junta media claimed that 2 women lost their lives and 4 people were injured due to an attack with hand-made mortars in Chaung-U of Sagaing Region.
  • According to the junta media, the military junta has been calling various kinds of applications to their institutions.
  • According to the junta media, the junta Deputy Minister of Investment and International Economic Relations joined the second meeting of working committee on writing up objectives for the ASEAN Community beyond 2025.
  • According to the junta municipal department, MCEF and MLCA have been constructing public rental housings in Yangon.
  • The junta Minister of Information said that Waziya Cinema on Bogyoke Aung San Road would be upgraded to be a theater of honour. 

Summary on 25 June
 

  • With financial support to some media people, the military junta has been making an effort to strengthen their propaganda via pages on social media.
  • As for the so-called people’s army under the junta army, they do not take any action against murderers in their local area.
  • In Sagaing Region, there have been mine attacks on the junta armed forces. In response, junta soldiers have been burning villages and killing civilians. In Myaing Township of Magwe, local PDFs attacked Thayetkan Police Station for the third time to take control of it. As usual, the junta army with a great loss used military helicopters in their attacks.
  • Amidst the oppression and arrests, there were protests in Yangon. As for Mandalay, Taninthayi and Sagaing, they had anti-junta movements and revolution activities of urban guerrillas.
