The Military Council

  • The junta newspaper falsely claimed that the NUG, CRPH and PDFs had set fire to some houses in Ward (2) of Tantalan in Chin State on Wednesday.
  • According to the junta media, CRPH and NUG had been persuading NLD members, supporters, CDM staff and young extremists, and providing them with training on explosives and violence in the operation areas of KNU so that they can conduct terrorism in the country and establish PDFs with terrorists.
  • The junta newspaper falsely claimed that due to the PDFs, 26 state-owned banks and 41 private ones had been damaged from 1st February to 20th November.
  • The junta marine police force called a tender for the installation of 96 CCTVs and construction of 3 control centers at 8 jetties and 4 bridges along the Yangon River.
  • At the junta press conference on Friday, the junta propaganda leader Zaw Min Tun said that in addition to the government, the public must take part in international relationships.
  • The junta propaganda leader Zaw Min Tun said that there would be an internal examination twice in basic education schools; a mid-term exam and a year-end exam.

The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • The NUG announced that they had blacklisted and dismissed 38 staff members from the Ministry of Religious and Cultural Affairs for their various kinds of oppression on CDM staff members.
  • According to the Ministry of Defence-NUG, 3 soldiers and 5 police members made contact on Friday to join the public as they could no longer accept the military dictatorship.
  • U Aung Myo Min, Minister of Human Rights, said that while trying for official recognition, the public’s government felt satisfied due to more and more international players were treating them like the government.

Revolution Activities

  • After security guards of Myanmar Plaza beat and arrested anti-junta youth, most shops closed and the public did not go there as a boycott.
  • With tight security measures, the junta armed forces were fully deployed in the compound of Myanmar Plaza.
  • Yangon Urban Guerrilla announced on Friday that responsible personnel of Myanmar Plaza were to make a video of apology to the young protesters who had been beaten by their security guards.
  • In Kyauktan Township, basic education students’ union hung a banner in front of a basic education school on Friday - ‘We don’t attend school to uproot slavery education of the military junta’.
  • In South Dagon Township, a man in Ward 54, allegedly an informer to the junta, was shot at 11:55 am Friday.
  • In Dala Township, a grenade was thrown at Hmawset Ward administration office, together with gunfire, at 4:45 am Friday.
  • In Pyi of Bago Region, township basic education students’ union led an anti-junta campaign on Friday, sharing brochures containing the names of Ko Htet Myet Aung and Ko Phyo Wai Yan Kyaw, who had been shot dead by the junta army in the protest.
  • On Friday, Mandalay Monks’ Union conducted an anti-junta movement, reciting Parittas.
  • At about 8:00 am Friday, a motorbiker threw a grenade at the Myanmar Economic Bank branch (2) on 24 street and 83 street.
  • In Dimawso Township of Kayah (Karenni) State, there was a battle between Karenni Force and the junta army at Hophait village on Thursday morning. According to Karenni Human
  • Rights Group, junta soldiers arrested 7 civilians and used them as human shields during their retreat. They then brought them to the junta army Ka-Ma-Ya (427) base near Ngwetaung village and released them in the afternoon.
  • In Hmawsisa village of Pha-Kant Township in Kachin State, a mine exploded near the affiliated high school at about 8:30 am Friday. Reportedly, 5 teachers, 2 students and 1 parent were injured.
  • According to local residents, a firefighter was shot dead in Hmawsisa village of Pha-Kant Township at about 10:00 pm Thursday.
  • In Salingyi Township of Sagaing Region, Latbadaung Taung General Strike marched against the military dictatorship on Friday.
  • As a 292-day protest, Kalay people conducted an anti-junta movement and white-ribbon campaign for eliminating violence against women.
  • On the border of Kani-Butalin townships, there was a fighting between local PDF and the junta army on Thursday. According to KPDF1, no less than 10 junta soldiers died and a PDF member was slightly injured. Due to the mortars shot by the junta army, 7 local residents were injured as well.
  • In Myaung Township, the junta army was attacked with mines by a combined force of local PDFs on Thursday. Reportedly, 7 junta soldiers died.
  • Between Nabat Village and Swele-O Village in Myaung Township, the junta armed forces were attacked with mines by PDFs. Reportedly, 6 junta soldiers died and 3 others were seriously injured.
  • In a village of Shwebo Township, there was a march against the military dictatorship on Friday morning.
  • In Pale Township, the junta army set fire to houses in Kyaungwindu Village. Consequently, hundreds of villagers had to run away.
  • In a village of Latbadaung area in Salingyi Township, there was a night strike of banging pots and pans on Thursday.
  • In a village of Myaing Township in Magwe Region, sesame farmers protested against the military dictatorship on Friday morning.
  • In Yesagyo, junta soldiers and Pyusawti members broke into the shops at Myoma Market on the night of 22nd November. According to local sources, one of the shops they had stolen from was connected to the junta army and thus, they had to compensate an equal amount of the stolen goods.
  • In Matupi of Chin State, security camp of the junta army Ka-La-Ya (304) was attacked by a combined force of CDF Matupi and CNA at about 1:30 pm Thursday. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died and at least 5 others were injured.
  • At about 6:00 am Friday, CDF Matupi attacked over 20 junta soldiers in district general administration office. Reportedly, 2 junta soldiers died and one other was injured.
  • In Tantlang Township, there was a fire at about 2:00 pm Wednesday. According to residents, 9 houses in Zunhmun Ward, including Thantlang Centenary Baptist Church (TCBC), were burnt to ashes.
  • In Zalun of Ayeyarwaddy Region, there was an outbreak of gunfire near the township police office in Nyaungbinzay Ward. After that, the junta armed forces arrested over 10 people, accusing them of being PDF members.

Summary on 26th November

  • The previous day, security guards of Myanmar Plaza beat and arrested two young protesters. As photos and videos went viral online, the public expressed their desire against the military dictatorship. They wrote on Facebook page of the plaza, calling for a boycott against it. In addition, over 30 shops closed there and expressed their objection.
  • In Sagaing, there were battles between local PDFs and the junta armed forces. As for Chin, they had counter attacks by CDFs.
  • In Kayin, Kachin and Kayah, there were battles against the invasion of the junta armed forces.
  • As for Yangon, Mandalay and Magwe, they had protests and activities of guerrilla revolution as usual.
