Spring Revolution Daily News for 3 December 2023 

The National Unity Government (NUG) 

  • According to Federal Wings on Friday, they got started with aerial operations via drones in battles in Karenni State, along with the leadership of Karenni National People's Liberation Front. 
  • On Friday, Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG declared that non-CDM staff were to join the public. 
  • At 1:00 pm Friday, there was a meeting between the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration and Township People’s Administration from Sagaing Region. 
  • In Phyuu Township of Bago Region, there was fighting almost all day long on Thursday. According to No. (2) Military Region under Ministry of Defence-NUG, there were a large number of casualties among junta soldiers. 

Revolution Activities 

  • In Bago Region, a combined force of PDFs conducted a bomb attack via the technology of Shar Htoo Waw on the junta air force based in Taungoo Township. 
  • In cooperation with Myanmar National Network of the Political Prisoners, the public and partners conducted a photo campaign themed ‘Don’t enclose life!’ on Friday. 
  • In Yangon Region, Western District PDF and Yangon Army attacked the two bunkers of Yankin Myoma Police Station. Reportedly, 3 junta policemen died and many others were injured. 
  • Even amidst tight security measures of the military junta, young revolutionists hung an anti-junta banner at Kyauk Yedwin Overhead Bridge in North Okkalapa Township on the night of Friday. 
  • In Beelin Township of Mon State, there was a battle between the junta army and a combined force of Karen National Liberation Army near Daukyet Village. Reportedly, there were casualties among junta soldiers. 
  • In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Region, local PDFs gave the last warning to the junta soldiers, police and Pyusawti to defect to them on Friday. 
  • In the west of Pale Town, the junta army conducted an air strike on Min Tie Bin Village on Friday afternoon. 
  • In Shwebo Township, there was an ambush on the junta army on their way out of Palaing Village. Reportedly, 3 junta soldiers died. 
  • According to Burmese Women Union on Friday, nearly 40 women lost their lives due to air strikes and heavy weapons fire of the junta army and 16 others were arrested by the military junta from 1 to 26 November. 

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs) 

  • According to Alpha Bats Drone Force, they got started with high-tech small planes in battles, along with the aid of Karen National Defence Organization Regiment (6) and foreign experts. 
  • In Matupi Township of Chin State, over 30 junta soldiers including a commander were arrested as prisoners of war in the battle to seize the town of Yeswa. 
  • Along with the family, a policeman from Matupi Myoma Police Station defected to local CDF, bringing a G3 gun and over 100 bullets. 
  • According to the Three Brotherhood of Northern Alliance including Arakan Army, the military junta has continued their attacks via air, water and heavy weapons in Rakhine Area. 
  • In Kokang Area of Northern Shan State, the junta army shot mortars into Nankaw Village. According to the Kokang by Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army, two people their lost lives. 
  • The AA has continued to rescue the townspeople of Pauktaw in Rakhine State, who have been captured as human shields and hostages. According to a video released on Saturday, no less than 13 people were saved. 

The Military Council 

  • In Winemaw Town of Kachin State, religious teachers have been recruited to join Lisu Militia. 
  • According to the junta propaganda team, the government has provided necessary support for the import of fuel oil for local use. Consequently, the current prices of fuel oil in the country are much cheaper than those of other countries in the ASEAN Region. 
  • The junta propaganda leader Major General Zaw Min Tun claimed that they would get started with the military exercise in cooperation with Chinese warships in Yangon on Saturday. 
  • In Kawkarait of Kayin State, Karen National Union and the PDF attacked 8 places in town on Friday. According to the junta spokesman, there was fighting almost all day long. 
  • Dr. Kan Zaw, the junta Union Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, met with a delegation led by the responsible person of Aquarius Technology Company in Naypyidaw. 

Summary on 3 December 

  • There have been drone attacks even on the junta air forces, the state and regional governmental departments and the junta camps. They may have just been tests and it might be followed by more powerful ones.
