The National Unity Government (NUG)

· In Tigyaint Township of Sagaing Region, the Local Public Administration warned non-CDM staff in the area to join the public by 27 December at the latest.

· In Pauk Township of Magwe Region, the Local Public Security Force educated people in a village about crimes and administrative procedures.

· There was a meeting between the 2023 Interim University Entrance Team under the Ministry of Education- NUG and the Rohingya Higher Education Team for the enrollment of Rohingya students at interim universities.

· The Ministry of Education- NUG announced that the deadline for the very first applications at the interim universities was 29 November.

· According to the Ministry of Defence- NUG on Tuesday night, PDFs attacked and took control of the junta army camps in the town of Shwe Pyi Aye of Hommalin Township in Sagaing Region.

Revolutionary Activities

· In Magwe Region, the locals from Myaing Township donated groundnuts to Pakkoku District PDF Regiment (6) to make edible oil.

· After taking control of the main junta camp in Taze Town in Sagaing Region, PDFs started to gain control of the town.

· In Phyuu Township of Bago Region, the military junta conducted an aerial bombing of the area in the east of Nyaungbintha Village even though there was no fighting in the area. Reportedly, many houses were damaged.

Ethnic Armed Organisations (EAOs)

· According to a spokesperson of the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), the whole regiment of Ka-La-Ya (125) based in Konegyan under the Lauk Kaing Area Supervisory Military Headquarters raised the white flag and gave up arms.

· A Special Investigation Team was set up and interrogated non-CDM staff and their family members, who had been rescued from Loikaw University in Karenni State.

· The MNDAA released the junta immigration staff and their families who had run away from Lauk Kaing in Northern Shan State, under the pretense of being displaced people.

· In the Kawthoolei Administrative Area under the Karen National Union (KNU), a local person from Wawlay Village stepped on a landmine set by the junta army and both of his legs were injured.

· The Chin National Front/ Chin National Army announced that a public administration would be implemented in Lailinpi, a town on the Myanmar-India border.

· In Matupi Township of Chin State, a combination of Chin national revolutionary forces gained control of the junta army camp in Yezwar Town at 9:30 am on Wednesday.

· According to the Karenni Information Center, a combination of Karenni forces attacked the junta army on their retreat from Mese to Farsaung. Within three days, 20 junta soldiers died, one other was caught alive and weapons were confiscated.

· In Waw Township of Bago Region, a combined force of Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and PDFs attacked the junta’s police camp in Thuye Thamai Village. Reportedly, 9 junta members including their chief died.

· According to the communication officer of United Wa State Army, they sent over 3,000 people who had run to Wa Area for refuge to the town of Tantyang in over 50 big cars.

The Military Council

· U Ye Htut, the former Minister of Information, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for defaming the military junta and the junta army.

· The military junta threatened youths and told them not to play so-called PDF Game, saying that it is a game of violence.

· Brigadier General Tun Tun Naung, the junta Minister of Border Affairs, met with Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, Chair of the Nippon Foundation, in Naypyi Taw.

· A delegation led by the Vice-Chair of the junta’s Former Soldiers Association attended the ASEAN EC meeting of the 35th VECONAC in Manila of the Philippines on 27 November.
