The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • Acting President of the NUG went to the frontline of the battlefield in Myanmar and encouraged PDF members.

  • Myanmar history.
  • On Sunday, the Interim Chin National Consultative Council announced that in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment-NUG, they would start the sale of Spring Revolution Special Bonds for Chin State on 1 June.
  • Ministry of Defence-NUG expressed their pride for outstanding military performance of members of the KNU, KNLA, KNDO, PDF and other alliances, who managed to take control of Thaybawboe Camp that had been occupied by the enemy for over 30 years and confiscate various weapons on 18 May 2022.

Revolution Activities

  • In Yangon Region, the junta army rammed a car into a group of protesting students. Reportedly, five young people were arrested.
  • In North Okkalapa Township, there was an explosion at the administration office of Ward (2) while the junta army was removing a bomb there.
  • On Monday, there was an announcement that Yangon Federal School had been established.
  • According to Justice Bringer Force–JBF, their group conducted an explosion at Woodland X Bar on Waizayanda Road in South Okkalapa Township.
  • In Longlone Township of Taninthayi Region, Basic Education Students Union protested against the junta slavery education, raising the flags of their union at two schools in town.
  • In Mandalay, Pyigyi Dagun Sayardaw led a night protest against the military dictatorship, making donations to fire victims.

  • In Sintkai Township, a contingent of 40 junta soldiers raided the house of Ko Tin Tun Aung and Ko Aung Aung, two brothers allegedly belonging to the Local Urban Guerrilla group, at 4:00 pm Sunday.
  • In Hpakant Township of Kachin State, local people marched for the KIA, PDF and NUG. They also protested against the military dictatorship.
  • In Khin-U Township of Sagaing Region, junta soldiers and Pyusawti members set fire to the public’s houses in Thayetgone Village on Sunday. They also robbed belongings from villagers.
  • In Shwebo Township, a rally of Shwe Kun Myay marched for the NUG and against the military dictatorship on Monday.
  • In most townships of Sagaing Region and some townships of Magwe Region with armed revolution, the military junta has cut off all telecommunications.
  • According to local sources, up to 14 villages in Kantbalu Township have been on fire since the military coup and 39 people, including a child aged 3, have lost lives due to the junta armed forces.
  • In Myaung Township, there was a fighting between the junta army and local PDF near Tamasaykan Village on Sunday. Reportedly, no less than 20 junta soldiers died.
  • In Taungoo Township of Bago Region, North Thandaung Defence Force attacked the junta army gate near Tonebogyi Village at 5:00 am Monday. Reportedly, at least 6 junta soldiers were injured.
  • According to Secretary General of the Chin Joint Defence Committee, the military junta could not succeed in their effort to reopen schools in 7 townships of Chin State.
  • For contribution to members of revolution forces based in Ywangan of Shan South, Vitamins-For the Spring Revolution conducted a new project named Vitamins × Red Ants.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Nammatu Township of Shan North, Ta'ang National Liberation Army-TNLA destroyed junta army products sold at the shops in Mansan Village.
  • According to the Karen National Union Central on Sunday, local people in Kyaikto Township have had to run away due to the firing of ammunition and arrests by the junta armed forces.

The Military Council

  • According to the news of the Hindu, the junta Minister of Foreign Affairs might be excluded from the meeting of India-ASEAN Foreign Ministers, which will be hosted by the Indian Foreign Minister in mid-June.
  • According to the junta media, the last consignment of Sinopharm vaccines and syringes, donated by China, arrived at Yangon International Airport through Sichuan Airline. Moreover, two vehicles with a mobile laboratory, donated by the Chinese Embassy, arrived in Yangon through Muse border gate.
  • The junta Ministry of Trade and Commerce announced that legal action would be taken against the sale of edible oil with high prices, storage to monopolize the local market and other improper activities under the law of important goods and services.
  • On Sunday, there was a meeting between the junta peace team and the working committee of political groups in Nay Pyi Taw. Reportedly, the working committee proposed the amendment of 9 points in the 2008 Constitution.

Summary on 30 May

  • The military junta rammed a car into a rally of students protesting against the military dictatorship. Consequently, 5 young people were arrested in that inhumane incident. Even in urban areas, violent activities of the junta armed forces have been significant. If this is how they behave in a city, one can imagine how much worse their behaviour is in remote villages.
  • As for Yangon, they resumed protests just a few days ago. However, the military junta carried out violent crackdowns. In Mandalay, Pyigyi Dagun Sayardaw led daily protests and made donations to fire victims from the villages which had been burnt to ashes by the junta army.
  • In Sagaing Region, local people conducted anti-junta movements and guerrilla revolution in any possible way amidst the extreme oppression of the junta armed forces.
