The Military Council

  • The junta Central Bank announced that financial transactions worth of over 200 lakh MMK were to be made through the banking system for sales and services.
  • According to the junta newspaper, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing inspected schools, universities and Aungmye Mandala football stadium in Mandalay.
  • The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing repeated that futuristic thinking and planning would be needed for bus services and a city circular railway as well as underground railway in Mandalay.
  • The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing said that if public transportation could be successfully implemented, the use of private vehicles would be reduced, causing less usage of fuel oil.
  • According to the meeting minutes of the junta Investment Commission, 13 new investments were approved including raising the capital of 19 investments in progress, worth 204.838 million USD and 225,520.015 million MMK, creating 2972 job opportunities for local people.

The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • The ticket sales for an education fund-raising art festival named ‘Victory Flag of the Spring with Revolution via Education’ has begun at unitedxyz.com.
  • On the special occasion of Diwali Day, the NUG sent a statement that it was an auspicious day for Hindu people and marked the harmony of diverse faiths in Myanmar.

Revolution Activities

  • In 7-Mile residential area of Mayangone Township in Yangon Region, U Thein Aung, a senior official at MyTel company, was shot dead by an unknown gunman at about 8:00 am Thursday.
  • In the media, some MyTel engineers speculated that it might have been a conflict between peers in the case of U Thein Aung, senior official of military businesses including MyTel, who had been shot dead near his house.
  • On Wednesday, Gerry Rice, spokesperson of International Monetary Fund (IMF), said that the military junta was unclear on the IMF’s COVID-19 fund for the public, worth 372 million USD and thus this large sum of money was missing.
  • According to little Hero (NDG ) on Wednesday, they set off another explosion as a warning to non-CDM staff at North Dagon electricity office as those staff members failed to follow their earlier warning to stop junta-support activities.
  • In Thaketa Township, a combined rally of students’ unions from Dawbone Township, Thaketa Township, Tamwe Township and South Dagon Township marched against the slavery education of the military junta on Thursday.
  • On Thursday, Yangon LGBT marched against the military dictatorship, chanting anti-junta slogans.
  • While the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing was in Mandalay, there was a bomb attack at precious stone trade area, killing a junta army sergeant and leaving a second police officer injured. Burmese Phoenix announced that they had done it.
  • On Thursday, Mandalay Monks’ Union led an anti-junta movement, reciting Parittas.
  • On Thursday, two PDFs in Western Bago Region established a partnership to uproot the military junta.
  • In Taungoo, Township Students’ Union marched against the military dictatorship on Thursday.
  • In Dike-U Township, a MyTel telecom tower, owned by family of the junta leader, was blown up by DDF and Alliance near Hsinku village at about 8:00 pm Wednesday as repayment for bloody debt of Tantlang.
  • In Kanpetlet Township of Chin State, there was a battle between local CDF and the junta armed forces from 8:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday. Reportedly, 5 junta soldiers died and the rest of them retreated.
  • At about 6:30 pm on 30th October, there was a fighting between the junta armed forces and CDF Matupi on on Matupi-Paletwa road section. Reportedly, at least 20 junta soldiers died and 10 others were seriously injured.
  • In Sagaing Region, Kalay people marched against the military dictatorship on Thursday.
  • As a 239-day protest, a combined rally of Salingyi North and Yinmabin East expressed their objection to the military dictatorship on Thursday.
  • In Dibeyin Township, a rally of women protested against the military dictatorship on Wednesday.
  • In Myinmu Township, Tin Win Zaw, junta-appointed administrator of Mehnaw village, was stabbed and shot dead at about 12:00 pm Thursday.
  • In Kachin State, Pha-Kant people marched for the KIA, PDF and NUG. They also expressed their disapproval of the military dictatorship.
  • In Myeik, youth scattered pieces of paper against anti-junta education in front of schools and at crowded places on Thursday morning.
  • In Thandwe Township of Rakhine State, 3 local women were arrested on Wednesday with suspicion of being connected to a PDF and were charged under the anti-terrorism law.

Ethnic Armed Organizations

  • In Winemaw Township of Kachin State, KIA cleared a camp of the junta Lisu people army stationing in the upper part of Wuyan village market on Thursday morning.
  • The leader of PPST said that the arrest of focal person and other members of ABSDF communication office in Myawady was a breach of the National Ceasefire Agreement-NCA.
  • In Pekone Township, there was a fighting between Karenni combined forces and the junta armed forces invading Lweme village at about 7:00 am Thursday. According to Dimawso PDF, at least 4 junta soldiers died and 2 members of Karenni forces were injured.

Summary on 4th November

  • The junta Central Bank put another restriction that transactions above 200 lakh MMK must be done through the banking system. At the time of difficulty in cash withdrawals at banks, such a rule has become a burden on the public and hurts the good trade of estate and cars again.
  • The junta leader does not seem to care about the deaths of his junta soldiers. He just daydreamed about an underground railway and electric vehicles, and talked about them wherever he went.
  • In Chin, Kayar and Sagaing, there were heavy battles with a great loss of the junta armed forces.
  • As for Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Kachin and Sagaing, they had public protests as well as activities of guerrilla revolution and junta-informer clearance operations.
