On February 1, 2021, the military junta led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing seized power in Myanmar. One of the first things it did was shut down the Free-To-Air Mizzima TV channel in the early hours of February 1. Then on March 8, the military junta revoked the license of Mizzima Media for publishing and broadcasting followed by next day raiding the Head Office of Mizzima Media in Yangon. However, Mizzima has continued to do its duty of broadcasting, publishing and reporting about what is happening in Myanmar under the military regime despite the challenges and risks. This short video documentary is about how Mizzima journalists, editors and other staff have been working diligently since February 1 under the military regime to continue to publish the news through its Mizzima TV channel and other digital media platforms.
