Taiwan's foreign minister Joseph Wu says United States and other countries' politicians visit to the self-ruled island are important in boosting Taiwanese people's morale in the face of Chinese military threats. US Senator Marsha Blackburn arrived Thursday for a 3-day visit, the fourth such visits this month by US politicians. The visits "might be symbolic but it has more substance to anything else," Wu adds.
