Telenor Myanmar has announced its customers can now check and verify their own SIM cards from their own mobile device. By re-registering their SIMs, customers can receive a data bonus of up to 5GB or up to MMK 1,000 of balance. Up to 2 SIM cards can be registered with each valid ID card, telecompaper reported.

Customers can check SIM ownership by dialling or sending an SMS to a special number. Users can also self-register their SIM on the Telenor Myanmar website or MyTelenor App.
