Two CDF-Mindat troops were reportedly killed in a clash in Palate Hti village, Mindat township in Chin State on 25 August.

"One died of a stomach injury and the body of another missing person was found in the jungle this afternoon,” said a CDF-Mindat official.

He said the CDF-Mindat member, who was found had not been arrested and tortured by the military as expected, but only one bullet wound was found.
