In Chaung-U Township, Sagaing region, two people riding a motorcycle were shot by junta troops on November 20 and one riding in the back of the motorcycle was shot dead according to local sources.

The deceased was Ko Tin Maung Aye who was on his way back to Kyi Kone village from Chaung-U.

Ko Tin Maung Aye, a 35-year-old greengrocer, was shot dead leaving his wife and a five-year-old child, according to a local resident.

The military council issued an order that all men were not allowed to ride on the back seat of a motorcycle since November 17 and will be shot if they do.
