An official from Yingmarpin-PDF said two military supply vehicles leaving from Monywa-Yinmarpin-Pale highway hit a landmine in Yinmarpin Township, Sagaing region on November 16.

After the two civilian trucks, used by the military council troops as supply vehicles, had gone from Monywa to Pale on November 15, they were attacked by a landmine while returning from Pale to Monywa today (November 16).

Military council forces are reportedly preparing infantry battalions to attack the Yinmarpin area, and military tensions are said to have increased.
