Sudden heavy winds destroyed and damaged homes and buildings in AungbarSan Village, in Thanintharyi Region's Kawthaung Township on 10 July.

Heavy winds destroyed the former village administration office, former police posts and 11 dwellings in AungbarSan Village's Sungaebarlaing Village Tract.

''People weren't injured, but houses, a former administration office, police posts and the village's clinic were damaged'', said a villager from AungbarSan Village.

Members of the district fire department, the township and Kawthaung District disaster management committees and reserve firefighters from the local area came to help. No one was harmed by the disaster.
