A Yangon Bus Service (YBS) bus caught fire on the Aung Zeya Bridge in Kanna Middle Ward, in Yangon's Insein Township at 7:25 a.m. on 19 July, according to local reports.

The Insein branch of the Myanmar Fire Department reported that two fire engines, one from Insein Fire Station and one from Hlaing Thayar Township Fire Station attended the blaze and fought it for half an hour before it was extinguished.

The bus was almost completely destroyed by the fire.

None of the passengers were injured, but the cause of the fire is still unknown, according to the Insein branch of the Myanmar Fire Department.
