The story of City Mart began as a single supermarket at Aung San Stadium in downtown Yangon and from its humble beginnings to the present day, the success of CMHL is directly related to and is dependent on its valued customers. Today, CMHL group has grown to be Myanmar’s leading & largest retailer operating in multiple formats of retail businesses including supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, bookstores, health & beauty stores, baby & maternity specialty stores as well as a café and bakery, the statement said.
Currently, there are over 180 branches operating under the City Mart Holding Company Limited across Myanmar and many others planned to be opened in coming years. In her speech during the opening ceremony, Daw Win Win Tint, CEO of CMHL said “The main reason of our existence in the past 20 years is our customers, employees and our business partners who have supportively held our hands as we journeyed through good and bad times”.

As part of their scaling for good plan, under their CSR Foundation – the City Love & Hope Foundation, there will be permanent fixtures at the centre which will feature:
