Myanmar has approved a $11-million foreign investment by Japan’s Yakult Honsha Co Ltd for the manufacturing and wholesale of fermented milk drinks in the country, dealstreetasia.com reported on 14 April.
The manufacturing plant will be located in Thilawa Special Economic Zone covering 20,800 square meters of land. The investment was approved 10 months after the Japanese firm set up Yakult Myanmar Co Ltd in Myanmar, the report said.
