State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was presented with an ASEAN Lifetime Achievement Award by the Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute at the 13th ASEAN Leadership Forum in Vientiane, Laos, on 6 August, state media reported.
The award was accepted by Union Minister for Commerce Dr Than Myint on behalf of the state counsellor, who is also the Union Minister for the President’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
