A total of 75 Myanmar youth volunteers have started their provision process of humanitarian assistance in conflict-affected areas in Buthidaung and Maungtaw townships in northern Rakhine state, Xinhua reported quoting state media.
As part of a project which the Union Enterprise for Humanitarian Assistance, Resettlement and Development (UEHRD) is implementing, another volunteer group with 38 youths also delivered humanitarian aid provisions in ethnic villages in Buthidaung townships.
Supervised by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, the program will continue to be implemented in 40 villages until Nov. 21.
