Chinese State Councilor Zhao Kezhi and Myanmar's Minister of Home Affairs Kyaw Swe co-chaired the sixth China-Myanmar ministerial meeting on law enforcement and security cooperation in Beijing this week.
Zhao, also minister of public security, said the two sides should strengthen security cooperation in Belt and Road projects, jointly upgrade cooperation in law enforcement and security, and inject new vigor into the China-Myanmar comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
Kyaw Swe said Myanmar was ready to deepen bilateral law enforcement and security cooperation, delivering benefit to both peoples.
