An advance statement was taken from woman on January 18 and this woman was taken to the Women's Protection Office in Surat Thani provine from Bo Phut Police Station on January 19.

"The case will be taken to court only after the medical certificate and the DNA test returns from Bangkok. It would be back in a month. Now, the other day interrogation means that we have to get an advance statement to interrogate the girl,” said lawyer Aung Myo Thant.
