YGH has over 40 healthcare workers infected with COVID-19

Yangon General Hospital (YGH), Emergency Ward in-charge Prof. Dr. Maw Maw Oo told Mizzima that about 40 healthcare workers serving in YGH had been infected with COVID-19.

Since the beginning of the outbreak of the pandemic, two specialists and six nurses from the Emergency Ward of YGH were included in the list of lab confirmed positive cases.

Despite following precautions and stringent COVID-19 protocols, over 40 healthcare workers have been infected with this deadly virus in YGH alone.
